There are serial killers operating right now. Certainly, fewer than there were when science, law enforcement and awareness weren't as developed in the 70s and 80s, but still an alarming number.
This book contains forty-two strings of unsolved murders and disappearances since the year 2000 where it's likely a serial killer is still active. In some cases there is a definite serial killer, in others there are clusters of murders where forensic data suggests one and a few are controversial theories. In a handful of cases we know who the killer is, but they've been inexplicably released from prison... and vanished. True Crime Dossiers never uses invented dialogue or imagined scenes. These are reports of what we know to be true, and that's troubling enough. From the pen of Robert H Wilde, historian and novelist.
