A Dad's Life Stories in Poem is a father's collection of personal stories, written in poetic form from my heart. A legacy of love, guidance, pain, and reflection. Through every line these poems capture exactly what I was going through as a young boy growing up in the Low country of Beaufort and Gillisonville, South Carolina and in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, New York. These poems will also go through my military service with the USMC and the US Army. These are my life lessons, quiet moments and unspoken teachings a father carries for his two sons, DJ. and Jaisen Newton.
