Few things test a robot's metal like a nine-to-five. Meet Arty, PA 3025. Life isn't easy for an artificial, particularly for one in a lower income bracket. He's got bills to pay, bullies to avoid, a cat to feed, and a nasty case of Artificial Initiative and Agency Syndrome to keep in his rear view mirror. But he's not alone. Armed with Decker, his cat, Gil, his new friend, and Knickers, his former programmer, Arty is ready to meet the challenges of the brave new world he finds himself in.
