A polar bear becomes a campus cop, chasing an invisible sex offender. A prairie dog is blackmailed into digging up a buried sheriff's car. A comic book writer talks about his first memories of racism. John Ira Thomas and Jeremy Smith present BLUE ROUTE AND STOPS ALONG THE WAY, three short stories exploring the weight of absence.
