Author Biography
Flavia Z. Drago is a Mexican illustrator and author living in the UK. She became a New York Times bestseller, and in 2021 won the Klaus Flugge Prize for the most promising newcomer to children's book illustration in the UK. Flavia also holds a PhD in the study of horror in children's picture books. Her work is inspired by her lifelong love of monsters and her Mexican heritage, celebrating the imagery and stories she found thrilling as a child.
