BARBARA V. SWOVELIN, M.A., taught AP English and Honors classes at Torrey Pines High School in Del Mar, California, for 34 years. She is an experienced AP English Exam Reader and a College Board Consultant, working both nationally and internationally. Additionally, she prepares new AP English teachers at College Board Institutes and Workshops. She has taught graduate-level test preparation classes at California universities since 1986, specializing in the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT exams. She resides in Carlsbad, California.
