Author Biography
Evelien De Vlieger is a Dutch writer and translator . . . and owner of chickens! She writes quirky stories set in the here and now, with plenty of subtle humor. Her oeuvre ranges from nonfiction and picture books to stories for beginning readers and YA novels. Jan Hamstra is a freelance illustrator and printmaker currently based in Groningen, the Netherlands. He is part of illustration collective Knetterijs and works as a screen printer for Vera Groningen.
