The Classic Equine Contourflex Pad is 3/4" thick and made out of 100% wool felt top to help absorb the shock. The pad offers a 1/2" closed cell foam bottom that is antifungal as well as antibacterial and it allows the horse's back to cool itself. The cut out over the withers and the shape of the back of the pad is contoured to the horse. The split in the middle of the pad allow the pad to move with the horse and not pinch them. The Classic equine pad is designed to be used alone. The pad has an area that is cut out that allows the cinch to fit the pad and the horse better.
