My mom has a large family with eight children: seven girls and one boy. Every my dad specifically plants a four-acre field of sweet corn so the sisters can freeze cream-style corn. And every year, three sisters (Lucy, Imogene, and Carolyn) and their husbands make a pilgrimage to the farm for corn "putting up" day.
These are the fun times, and I love when they come out.
