Betty and Duncan listen to their Daddy tell them about the real friendship of two sailboats: Cygnet and Thomasina. The boats and their captains play and sail together, and help each other out when they have problems. Inspired by a true story, Cygnet & Thomasina's caring ways inspire us to take care of our best friends. This children's picture book has some funny surprises and gives elementary insight into sailing and the parts of a sailboat.
