On a trip to the park, Zahara becomes fascinated by a caterpillar and shows the other children in the park what she has found. The children are not so nice to Zahara and begins teasing and making fun of her. Zahara's dad explains the process a caterpillar goes through to become a butterfly in order for Zahara to understand where true beauty comes from.
