The book is based on the author's experiences working with adult learners as an undergraduate student progressing to teaching a Literacy Training course for graduate and under- graduate students, (a grant funded course) as a professor at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Like students, adults need to be motivated to read. The author shares engaging ways to work with adult learners to supplement their instruc- tion.
