For Every Field will appeal to readers who embrace the beauty of humanity, embedded in nature but gazing at the stars, encouraging each other to heal one another's brokenness. Today as threats assail us on every side, poetry is needed more than ever. Hopefully such inspiration will emerge when mankind needs it most.
Author Biography
Audrey McHugh retired as a nurse thirteen years ago, and then her life began. At Hunter College she took an English literature course, and Shakespeare became her leading man. Literature and nature gave her all the inspiration she needed. For Every Field is her third book of poetry. The last was Tree of Metamorphoses, poems of the natural and spiritual world that all people inhabit and that, hopefully, inhabits all people.
