Leslie Barringer (1895-1968) was an English editor and author of historical novels, best known for his historical fantasy novels. Not strictly a fantasy, "Gerfalcon" is the first book in the trilogy known as The Neustrian Cycle, set in the 14th century in an alternate medieval France called Neustria. And don't miss the second volume in the series, "Joris of the Rock."
