Betsy Lynch, poet, teacher, pilot, explores in "Ground Effect after Spin Recovery" how we recover from real and metaphorical spins, seeking home in 'ground effect' cushion
air molecules between plane and Earth. Raising a family through ages and stages, reflections on hurricanes, ghosts, Irish jigs, roots. Her late brother hovers throughout as
landmark and lighthouse, signal and warning. Wistful and tender, humorous and terrifying.
