Society has collapsed. The technophilic empires of the early third millennium have disintegrated into tribalism and disarray. The people of Ireland have learned to live in this new reality, and generations have passed, pushing much of history out of current memory.
Into this world, by the waters around Cobh near Cork, a strange man arrives in a leather boat. On his lips are strange words of lordship and fealty. On his hip is a fine, sharp sword. And in his heart is a bold mission: to restore the High Kingship of Ireland, and with it, restore its ancient faith.
The Second edition of High King brings the same thrilling story as the first edition, with updated names and a new professional edit.
