The horse is motion in physical form, and one of the favorite subjects of artists from all ages. In How to Draw Horses, John Skeaping offers notes on drawing the horse in its various modes of action (from trotting to galloping) and how to express the vitality within these majestic creatures. Mastering the horse is the challenge of a lifetime, but one which will prove an enjoyable diversion for the beginning artist.
