Caroline Sylge is a poet, author, and journalist who has been a trusted expert on retreats and retreating for over 30 years. She is the founder of Queen of Retreats, the trusted retreat platform powered by The Global Retreat Company. A retreat-focused journalist, whose credits include The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Condé Nast Traveller, and National Geographic. The author of healthy travel guidebooks Body & Soul Escapes and Body & Soul Escapes: Britain & Ireland. A Carcanet-published poet, and a judge for the British Book Awards, Caroline has an MA in English from the University of Sussex, and a First Class BA in English from the University of Birmingham. She lives in Devon, England, with her husband and daughter.
