This is a book of flying kinetic sculptures by Ondrej Mitas. These works are not models of things that fly, but rather models of flight itself. The book describes why and how they are made, how they fly, and the counterintuitive reactions they spark in people. Beautiful photos show the works in their full complexity and diversity. It is essential for any good collection of books about innovative 21st century artists, kinetic sculpture, aviation, or flight.
