Welcome to Makeshift, a poetry book created in, well, a makeshift time in our existence. B.A. McRae's newest book is intertwined with poems written in a time of devastation of the heart, repairing of the mind and isolation in the world, to the radical healing of the soul, and celebrating in the midst of blessings and love. Makeshift was a boarding pass to the reality B.A. McRae was determined to build for herself, let this be yours to whatever you may need; a makeshift, ticket if you will.
