"In No Lost Feast, it feels as though the poems have turned feral. . . . But as wild, unpredictable, and undomesticated as Boyd's poems often are, they're always worth following-like a wolf with a nose for truffles. So much of the language Boyd chooses seems wrenched from the earth, as if each syllable has been dug out with his own two hands, and the resulting poems are honest and raw and gutting and worthy of multiple reads."
