In her debut poetry collection, Jen Colclough explores themes of love, loss, and belonging. Summoning figures from Classical mythology, Colclough engages with personal loss through timeless narratives of descent and endurance. The result is an ode to survival and the persistence of memory. Colclough blends the mythological with the intimately real, crafting a literary journey for readers that is laced 'with a considerable amount of strategic hope.'
