Today, many Christians are turning back to the puritans to, "walk in the old paths," of God's word, and to continue to proclaim old truth that glorifies Jesus Christ.
There is no new theology. In our electronic age, more and more people are looking to hold in their hands books written by the Reformers and Puritans - in order to become "modern-day puritans" themselves.
Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices is a Christian classic written by Thomas Brooks in the middle of the 17th century. The book uses the scriptures to provide excellent advice to Christians on how to avoid the schemes and temptations that could lead to Satan.
Thomas Brooks was a non-conformist Puritan preacher and Christian author. Brooks became a minister at Thomas Apostle's Church in London after the First English Civil War. Brooks is now best remembered for his books including the Christian classic Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices.
