All of Quinn's friends have pets, but she can't have a dog, a cat, or a turtle. When Mom suggests getting a couple of boring fish, Quinn gets upset. But wait a minute! She can make up her own pet. And during a visit to the park, Quinn realizes that the solution was right in front of her all along . . .
Author Biography
Shuyi Chiou (1977) grew up in Taiwan and studied animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She loves picture books for the wonder of immersing herself in the magical worlds that illustrations create and hopes her books will bring the same joy to her readers. In her work, she finds great inspiration in the everyday life with her children. When not working, she enjoys sketching, jogging, and listening to podcasts about dinosaurs and other creatures from millions of years ago. Shuyi lives with her husband and two rambunctious kids in Rhode Island, USA.
