RED HORIZONS Issue 1 is a product of the rising internationalist tide. In response to the depravities of imperialist militarism. suffocating state repression. and increasingly catastrophic ecological breakdown millions around the globe are breaking ranks and searching for an alternative. Iskra Books' new journal aims to serve as a practical tool for this moment-in the hands of activists. workers. scholars (within and beyond the academy). and all who carry forward the internationalist legacy of the workers' movement. We aim to build a space where a global community of communist scholar-activist-artists can come together. working together to create the theoretical and creative weapons to support liberatory movements around the world.
