Scratch My Belly & I'll Follow You Anywhere is a collection of stories about dogs that were rescued -sometimes from a life of despair - written by the people who rescued them. Within these pages you'll have a chance to read the story "On a Lonely Road," written by Josie Rivara, about the little white dog she picked up on a rainy night, and the special bond they formed. There's also "Peanut" by Beverly A. VanEnam, the story of a dachshund who captured the hearts of the family that took him in. And then, of course, there's the first story in the book, titled "When Kirby was Lost...And Found," written by Grover Reiser, to whom this book is lovingly dedicated. Whether you're in the mood to laugh or shed a tear, you will find something here to feed the soul.
