Being stuck in a difficult situation is a feeling felt in different parts of everyone's lives. Its ubiquity separates, dividing and categorizing us when it should unify us under a common purpose. Sentenced deals with the concept of being trapped by external forces outside of one's control. The reader will find topics ranging from loss and heartbreak to overcoming relationship troubles and love, from climate change to financial burdens caused by the student debt crisis, from addiction to mental health. This collection is a reflection of the current issues enmeshing today's younger generations.
