Four women, barely acquainted, embark on a last-minute trip to the Mar del Plata Film Festival. Their clashing temperaments emerge before they even leave Buenos Aires, spiraling into chaos upon arrival at the coast.
Souvenirs from Mar del Plata is a sharp, energetic, and often hilarious road novel. With rhythmic, imaginative storytelling, Caamaño explores the pretensions of Buenos Aires' middle class and the complexities of female relationships.
