The Gingerbread Man is a delightful, rhyming tale about a gingerbread boy who comes to life and outruns everyone in his path. After being baked by a lonely old woman, he jumps out of the oven and runs away, singing, "Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man." The old woman, her husband, a cow, a horse, a dog, and even a cat all try to catch him, but he evades them all with his speed and confidence. The story ends with the Gingerbread Man still running, creating a timeless, fun-filled adventure for readers of all ages.
