This edition publishes the Greek Original without translation. You may be interested also in the Bilingual Edition (see elpenor.org).
Coming from Byzantium and being used until our days in Greek speaking Orthodox Churches, this version is the most authoritative form of the original New Testament text.
Elpenor's edition is offered at cost price, it follows the 1904/12 text of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople with just a correction of typos.
Illuminated with images of Byzantine manuscripts, photos of Churches of Athos Holy Mount and all of Greece, Orthodox Icons and various Orthodox style drawings, this edition features also a large typeface for easier reading. Even if you have the original Greek New Testament already, you may want to get also this edition for the pleasure of reading it in large fonts, its convenient formatting and the inspiring illumination.
