The West Virginia Penitentiary is a place filled with history both of chaos and courage. Terror and triumph took place together. This booklet allows one to capture a small glimpse into the world of the penitentiary. It also takes a visitor through the tour. If a visitor has gone on the tour, this helps remind them of their incredible experience. If a person has not yet ventured forth upon a tour, this allows them to see that this is a place that they cannot stay away from.
