"The Towers" by Andrej Grilc is a haunting, lyrical meditation on memory, trauma, and the fragile myths of modern civilization. Blending personal recollection with global history, Grilc links the burning towers of New York to the shattered towers of his Slovenian childhood, crafting a poetic journey through innocence lost, faith tested, and art rising from ruins-a powerful work of remembrance and transcendence.
