Zannell was always told that humans were dangerous and that there is no place for her kind in their world, but when she is captured by a human sorceress, Zannell discovers that danger may be closer to home than she realized.
Forced to flee her mountain home, Zannell finds that she needs the help of humans to save her loved ones and fulfill the destiny of her people. She also discovers family comes in many forms, that you do everything for the ones you love, and that sometimes you have to make sacrifices that tear you apart.
