Author Biography
Thanks to her more than twenty years of writing and editing nonfiction for children, Rachel Buchholz can tell you everything there is to know about White House ghosts, skateboarding dogs, panda poop, and lady pirates. She's the former editorial director of National Geographic Kids magazines and digital and the author of four books, including the Children's Choice-nominated How to Survive Anything: Shark Attacks, Lightning, Embarrassing Parents, Pop Quizzes, and Other Perilous Situations. After more than two decades in Washington, DC, Rachel and her husband are back in her home state of Texas, where she's shamelessly trying to eat as many tacos as possible.
