Timmy the Turtle is afraid of tornadoes, but his mom eases his fears by telling him what to do if a tornado is nearby. Timmy the Turtle and the Tumultuous Tornado is the first in a series of books designed to educate young children (and parents!) on various safety measures during a disaster. It's a fun, fast-moving book with entertaining characters, encompassing real-life situations in a non-frightening manner.
