In this book we are invited to learn about two species which are currently listed as being critically endangered. The Kakapo, a cute, ground-dwelling parrot and the Pekapeka, an adorable New Zealand bat. Awareness is the first step in learning ways that can help them survive. In this delightful story of self-love, we learn how determination can help us to be confident and achieve our goals. We also learn how we are all unique and connected with one another.
