The purpose and scope of this training circular is a guide for commanders and staffs in the orientation and training of personnel for operations in the Republic of Vietnam. It encompasses Viet Cong mine and boobytrap material, techniques of employment, and defense measures to be taken against Viet Cong mine and boobytrap activities.
